I just had a question about the correct replacement for a wg154 20 v sting assembly unit. I had ran out and wanted to buy the assembly not the string.
I personally feel that using a start to customer relations as pissed off customer may only lead to a pissed off customer. The purchase I made has been truly appreciated.
It's done all that they said it will! No complaints!!
Resolved: Return
I ordered an edger with the picture it was exactly what I wanted. However when I received it was not run by a battery.
Instead it run by electric.
I live on a big piece of property(5 acres). I wanted to return.

Lesson learned
I have several Worx products and have gifted some to family members. I had a new battery still in the box that I had never put into service because of having several others already in use.
When I decided to put the new battery to work it would not recharge or operate after being used. The was dated 2018 but had never been used. Ive learned not to order batteries with all my new purchases and wait to purchase batteries after the ones that I currently have stop working.
Also learned to periodically to use all of my batteries to keep them alive. Didnt realize that they would become useless sitting in the box.

They did not have the part that I needed. I had to buy the whole bottom assembly of the Weedwhacker.
They wanted $10 for it and $25 shipping. I told them to shove it up their *** and that they suck.

No customer service support
I purchased a Worx string trimmer from Amazon in 2024. After about one year the line cutter under the shroud broke off.
I called Worx to get a replacement shroud( cheap plastic part). The customer non support proceeded to put me through the mill, with long unnecessary pauses in our conversation. I purchased free replacement spools on at least 3 occasions prior to the call. The spools are allegedly free, 9.95 for shipping(rip off)!
Therefore, they knew what unit the spools go on.The man in customer support still wanted the model and serial number, which I took off the unit. The serial number started with 2024..which they should have recognized immediately as about one year old. He then asked me to take a picture and find my Amazon receipt. Amazon as you know does not give receipts with their products.
The receipt is in Amazons customer product history. After blowing my top, he stated he would replace the cheap plastic part as an appeasement. Really! What else am I going to do with this cheap plastic part, maybe he thought I would sell it on eBay.
The employee # was 285****. If you get that one, hang up.

Wheel assembly broke off from trimmer head just a few days after the end of the 3 year warranty. Worx agreed to send me a new trimmer; I will pay shipping.
The material are great but the service is not
I called to get a battery generated for my saw but there was no support. I need that service so I can use my wood saw. Ive used the saw for many years and it has been great.

I enjoyed use of my WORX Trimmer for many years. It has always worked well.
Suddenly and without warning, this time it failed to turn on. New string...fully charged battery. (400) Took it apart and reinstalled the string. Nothing,,,not a murmur from the trimmer.
Several local "experts" said it was probably the motor gone. So...sadly... I ordered a new one. But I'm upset, because instead of one 400 volt battery, it's 2 200s.
AND...a dual string instead of a single string...NOT backwards compatible! While this may be an improvement for cutting, it means that all the new strings I bought at the end of last season are useless, as is the 400 Volt battery. Not every improvement is an improvement.
All that new stuff, the battery and the battery charger have to go into an already overloaded landfill...as does the entire trimmer itself. Why couldn't it have been made backwards compatible!

- Bought useless replacement strings

Preferred solution: Refund of the money I spent on replacement strings and cap covers, since they are not backwards compatible. $25.00

Product order complaint
Today,8/9/2025,I received my package of 6 replacement tools of line.However the package,though not open,4 the spools were unbound and the package looked as if it had been run over several times!!!
